Cue Why do people think of failures as anything other than such? Why do we base our self worth in other people’s opinions? Where did that Idea come from? | Notes -Know this: it is this struggle that sets you apart from everyone else. If it was easy, everyone would do it. -Instead of accepting the struggle, people with IS see themselves as failing and give up. -failure is failure, but it you give up that’s the issue –Accepting the challenge of that struggle is what makes you an artist. -Imposter Syndrome is the feeling of being a fraud, of feeling like a fake. It is the feeling of not being good enough and the fear of being “found out”. -can be a response to stimulus or anxiety -Relying on others’ approval for our sense of worth is called “conditional worth”. And since we cannot control others, when we base our worth in conditions outside ourselves, we are never going to be in control of our sense of worth. -what needs to be fixed -Imposter Syndrome is not low self-esteem, a lack of confidence, and incompetence. It is not a psychological condition -although it can lead to phsych. conditions -Can cause inability to believe we can change the condition we’re in. – |

Skills Commentary
Annie is a song about a girl who’s been living in a toxic relationship with her husband and one day she snaps. It’s only lyrics at the moment.
POST-PRODUCTION – REFLECTION
21st Century Skills
Ways of Thinking (Creativity, Innovation, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving)
The idea for this song originally started as a joke, however; since I had so many ideas, I decided to continue it. So decidedly, I had a creative mindset.
Ways of Working (Communication & Collaboration)
I asked for help understanding from the teacher multiple times, and I bounced ideas off of, and asked for advice from my friends.
Tools for Working (Info & Media Literacy)
Edublogs was used, as well as Soundtrap, Google Docs, and a dictionary.
Ways of Living in the World (Life & Career)
I’m gaining writing and thinking skills that I will need to use in the work force when I get older.
Reactions to the Final Version
Self-Evaluation of Final Version
For being the first song I ever truly attempted to write I think it turned out alright. I think that the theory of it could have been better, as well as maybe some of the word choice, but that can improve with time.
What I Learned and Problems I Solved
The process of writing Annie helped me further learn. Experience I’ve gathered in writing, word choice, and overall story telling can and will carry on into anything I write in the future, and will time it will improve.
